Jack of All Trades
Is it a good thing to be a “jack of all trades?” Some people use the phrase as an insult, implying that dabbling in several things but not being an expert in any is a waste of time. But others use it as a compliment, meaning that having multiple skills makes you a well-rounded person. In Bert’s case, we’re rather glad that he likes to take on odd jobs here and there, since it makes Michael and Jane’s adventures much more interesting! We especially enjoy the part where he takes a job as a chimney sweep, and the incredible song and dance performed by his coworkers. If you’d like to try out a different profession this Halloween, perhaps you wouldn’t mind getting a little soot on your face when you join Bert and his friends!
Design & Details
Get ready to clean some chimneys when you put on this Plus Size Bert Costume from Disney’s Mary Poppins! The outfit starts with a sleeveless shirt that buttons down the front and features a jaunty collar at the throat. The jacket is slightly darker and sits comfortably on top of the shirt, while a red necktie adds a pop of color. Last, a newsboy-style hat tops everything off. Each piece is printed with a pattern that makes it look like you’ve already encountered some soot. You’ll feel chim-chim-cheery in this fantastic costume, but we do have to advise extreme caution when dancing on rooftops!
